CRAZY PEACOCK! WORDLESS WEDNESDAY W/ LINKY

This peacock was crazy! My kids & I went to the zoo w/ my parents, we saw this peacock pecking away at the drink machines. Looked like he wanted a cold drink! Couldn't figure out what his problem was until we realized he saw his reflection in the machines! The 2nd picture is the peacock flying up the selection buttons - it so looked like he was purchasing a drink! He was even sticking his head in the hole where the drinks come out of!

What's your Wordless Wednesday? Please share, link up below!

  8. Peacocks always kind of scared me. Well, any big bird, I guess. You were so brave to stand by and take pictures!

  9. My oldest son loves peacocks! He got in trouble a few years back because he argued with someone on a field trip for preschool saying that they had peacocks on their farm. Some farmers do I imagine. We bought him a peacock puppet from Folkmanis. Kind of an odd thing for a young boy to like. But they are pretty.

  14. Visiting from Natural Parents Network!

That is awesome! It has been too long since I went to our local zoo. We also have peacocks on the loose. I'd be worried the birds would get their necks stuck in the dispenser part. Hrm.

  15. We have a wild peacock in our neighborhood that roams around our yard and that of the neighbors on both sides. They are indeed crazy and do crazy things. They are pretty though. I love snagging all the feathers from our neighborhood peacock when he sheds them.

  17. I had a male peacock, he would go crazy when I would blue & green and try to fight me. If I ever I had a cap on he jump up and try to hit/spur me in the head.
