AIR AMBULANCE TOUR OF THE HELICOPTERS (HOMESCHOOL GROUP FIELD TRIP)

Our homeschool group went on our monthly field trip - it was awesome! We visited our local airport at an area that sends out "air ambulances" for those who are injured. Here are some pictures of the tour:

  1. How fun! I've been a patient in one of those and they are really neat! Wish there was a place nearby where we could go let the kids see inside one. Looks like you guys had fun!

  2. It's crazy that you posted this because yesterday I was driving with my girls asleep in their car seats, and in a field next to the road I was on there was an ambulance helicopter that kept taking off and landing. I think it was practicing or some thing, and I wanted so badly to wake my girls up so they could see it. They would have been soo excited.

  6. Great idea for all homeschooling parents. I still remember that day my mom took me to the airport; learning about and getting to sit in the air ambulance myself as part of my own homeschooling (have a great 3x5 photo to remember it by too). Learning about the air ambulance is an exciting, fun field trip experience for any child.
