COFFEE FILTER FLOWER CRAFT

I am a bit behind in homeschool posts, my 3 older kids have been sick with fevers so we were unable to complete the Mother's Day gifts we were going to give to the mom's in our family. We didn't get to see them on Mother's Day because they were sick. Now my kids are better so we completed them Tuesday & Wednesday. Here's what we made:

Coffee filter flowers - (easy & fun to make -- here's how)

1st have your child color the coffee filter with washable markers (Crayola), spray with a water bottle than dry (we placed our's in the sun to dry)

Then take a pipe cleaner / chenelle stick, poke throught he center of the filter

string it through, poke another hole finger tip away

Grabbing the filter, wrap the chenelle stick around the base of the filter. (this will keep it in the flower form) than fold the chenelle stick in half so the stem is doubled and wrap the other end of the chenelle stick around the base of the coffee filter.
