My children enjoy Chef Boyardee products, especially whimsical shaped pasta's they offer. As their mom I am always looking for healthy lunches that are quick and easy. With 4 children I do not always have the time to cook from scratch so when I can grab their favorite shaped pasta's and heat them up and serve them to them I am confident I am offering them a fun healthy meal! BUT, you do not have to just serve them straight from the can, why not give these products a twist?
We had a little House Party to try one of these yummy recipes out!
We decided to make Taco-Roni!
Ingredients
2 cans (15 oz each) Chef Boyardee® Beefaroni®
1 can (14.5 oz each) Hunt's® Diced Tomatoes, drained
1 can (15 oz each) Rosarita® Premium Whole Black Beans, drained, rinsed
1 cup frozen whole kernel corn
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 cup shredded reduced fat Mexican cheese blend
1/2 cup broken yellow tortilla chips
Some of the little Chef Boyardee Chefs mixed the ingredients together and then we let it cook.
In no time this yummy lunch was done! From start to finish it only took 10 minutes! Just in time because everyone was hungry!
I can the kids their own little bowls for them to add their own toppings - to make it a bit more fun!
The kids really enjoyed getting involved in making their lunch - they felt like they accomplished a big task! Not to mentioned they loved the Taco-Roni! Even the picky eaters! What a fun and delicious meal to make and eat!
So which Chef Boyardee Recipe sounds good to you - leave me a comment - I would love to know!

I love those chef hats!! The recipe that caught my attention first was the Pepperoni Spaghetti Bake. I love pepperonis as a topping to any Italian dish!
